Gabriel James Graham

I (Kristine) had a wonderful three days in Utah being grandma to Gabriel James Graham, born Aug. 20, 2012 to Coleen and Bjorn!  We are so lucky to have so much family around.  Marcelle and Bu made these adorable cookie "rattles" and Whitney sewed the doll.  Michael and Stephanie and Kacy also came by to visit and bring gifts.

This is Bu's fifth great-grandchild!

We had to go to the doctor to check his jaundice.  He was so tiny in the carseat!  Four days old.

He is such a sweet baby and only cries when he's undressed or changed. 

He is just happy being swaddled and snuggled!

What's this?

It looks like a typical newborn...but it's actually a BEANIE BABY!!!!

Round 2

So here I am, back the second day, STILL know how to do the blog. And just to be certain I haven't lost my skills, here is a picture from our neighborhood Fourth of July Parade.

News Flash!  News Flash!  Kate is actually learning to post on a blog.  This is her experimental post.  She will now see if she can add a picture or-going wild- even a video!

Posting one time is fine.  But returning another day, and remembering how to do it, to post again, that is the real test.  Stay tuned for future posts!.... (I think I could seriously get the hang of this.  Watch out, family.)

Cousins raft through dinosaur land!

This last week I took a bunch of cousins over to Vernal, UT.  We saw dinosaur bones - huge, real ones still partially buried in the mountain dirt.  The next day we took a rafting trip down the Green River.  Great fun.  Cousins who went with Aunt Marcelle - Maraika, Meg, Whitney, Sydney, Mary, Sophia, Sibley and Emmett.  Here are some pix!
